Datum Point Electrical.

We designed and built a new website for Datum Point Electrical that speaks to homeowners, landlords, developers and businesses alike. Domestic, commercial, EV charger installation, and inspections and repairs each have a page of their own, listing the work the team carries out, from full rewires and fuse board upgrades to EICRs and charging points.

An Our Projects section presents completed work on pages of its own, including Kinsmen Mews in Hertford, 1 Newman Street at Oxford Circus and Brunswick Place on Old Street, while the News section carries practical advice on electrical inspections and NICEIC registration.

Key features

• Four service pages. Domestic, Commercial, EV Charger Installation and Inspections & Repairs, each in the main navigation.
• What each service covers. Every service page lists the work included, such as consumer unit upgrades, smoke and heat alarms and landlord safety certificates.
• Project portfolio. Completed projects in London, Hertford and Harpenden, each with its own page.
• Advice and news. Articles on electrical inspections and why NICEIC registration matters.
• Enquire Now. A phone number and Enquire Now button in the header, and a contact form that starts with the service required.

Design approach

The vivid lime of the Datum Point logo is set against charcoal and warm stone, giving a technical trade a confident, contemporary look.

Large, light DM Sans headlines sit over full-width photography of electrical work.

On the homepage the four services stand as tall photographic cards, so each reads as a clear choice.
