Asim Shah Driving School.

We designed and built a new website for Asim Shah School of Motoring around the questions learners ask first: how much lessons cost, where they take place and how to book. The introductory offer of three hours for £60 runs across the top of every page, with Call Now and Book Now buttons in the main header.

A dedicated Prices page sets out 60-minute, 90-minute and two-hour lessons side by side, and a set of learner guides covers the theory test, the practical test, show me tell me questions and Pass Plus. The homepage names more than twenty areas the school covers, from Kempston and Wootton to Cranfield and Marston Moretaine.

Key features

• Introductory offer. Three hours for £60, announced in a yellow bar at the top of every page and repeated in its own homepage panel.
• Lesson prices. Three lesson lengths on colour-coded cards, each with its own Book Now button.
• Areas covered. Bedford neighbourhoods and nearby villages, laid out as simple tags on the homepage.
• Learner guides. Guides to the theory test, the driving test, show me tell me questions, test videos and Pass Plus.
• Lesson enquiries. The enquiry form asks for preferred lesson times and level of driving experience.
• FAQs. Answers on prices, areas covered, intensive lessons and nervous learners, in an expandable list.

Design approach

The red, yellow and black of the school’s logo carry through the whole site, from the offer bar to the price cards.

The homepage opens on a photograph of one of the school’s branded tuition cars, with the Driving Lessons in Bedford heading set over it.

Mona Sans, used throughout, keeps headings, prices and lesson details crisp and easy to scan.
